Where is the model number on my product?

The Model# will be located on the first page of the instructions above the item picture and on the carton box.

Care and Maintenance

  • Use a soft, clean cloth that will not scratch the surface when dusting.
  • Use of furniture polish is not necessary. Should you choose to use polish, test first in an inconspicuous area.
  • Using solvents of any kind on your furniture may damage the finish.
  • Never use water to clean your furniture as it may cause damage to the finish.
  • A touch-up pen has been provided to minimize the small nicks or scratches that may occur during assembly or shipping.
  • Check bolts/screws periodically and tighten them if necessary.
  • Always use coasters under beverage glasses and flowerpots.
  • Liquid spills should be removed immediately. Using a soft clean cloth, blot the spill gently. Avoid rubbing.
  • Always use protective pads under hot dishes and plates. Heat can cause chemical changes that may create spotting within the furniture finish.
  • Stains or marks from crayons or ink markers will be difficult to remove.
  • It is best to keep your furniture in a climate-controlled environment. Extreme temperature and humidity changes can cause fading, warping, shrinking and splitting of wood. It is advised to keep furniture away from direct sunlight as sun may damage the finish.
  • Proper care and cleaning at home will extend the life of your purchase. Following these important and helpful tips will enhance your furniture as it ages.

How do I get replacement parts for my product?

Please contact our Whalen Parts Department via phone- 866-942-5362 or fill out the form, here, with the product model number, and/or description, and we can further assist in your parts or hardware needs.

Can I purchase directly from Whalen?

Whalen products are only available through our authorized retailer partners. We do not sell directly to the public. Depending on the item it might be sold exclusive to a retailer. Please contact your local retail store and ask them to check for any remaining stock in your area, city or state, or visit their website.

Warranty information on my product?

Please refer to your product’s assembly instructions for warranty information or contact our customer service team. Should this product be defective in workmanship, materials or fail under normal use, we will repair or replace it for up to one (1) year from date of purchase. Every Whalen Furniture product is designed to meet your highest expectation. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state or province to province. The warranty covers purchases by the original party from an authorized Whalen Furniture retailer, not 3rd party purchases (i.e. purchased from a private party on an online website such as Craigslist, eBay, Marketplace, etc.)

Do you provide touch up markers for finish?

Yes, we have touch up markers available for most of our products. If it was originally included with your purchase, they can be requested from our Whalen Parts Department. We do not offer touch up paint. Touch up crayons and markers are also available at local hardware and home improvement stores in a variety of color packs. These types of kits are made especially for furniture which works well in touching up minor flaws.

Where do I get a copy of assembly instructions for my product?

There should be detailed instructions packed in your furniture. Please contact our Whalen Parts Department; they can assist in identifying which instruction sheet to send to you via email. Please be prepared to provide the model number, or the product description, to ensure you get the proper set of instructions sent to you.

What is the weight capacity for my unit?

Each of our Whalen products are designed and engineered to hold various weight, depending upon the design. Every product has a weight limitation which is specified in the assembly instruction; please refer to your instruction manual for specific weight capacity limitations or contact our Whalen Parts Department.

Can alterations be made to my product?

Every Whalen product is designed, engineered, and tested to pass specific requirements set for our customer’s safety and product stability. We do not recommend, or advise, making alterations to your Whalen product. Doing so will void your warranty.

Can I purchase an additional leaf for my Dining table?

Unfortunately, an extra leaf is not available for purchase as this table was manufactured and tested to hold only the one included.

Is there a side splash available for my vanity?

Unfortunately, this unit was not manufactured to be used with a side splash. We do not have side splashes available for the vanity.

Can you use pedestal on ventilated tower on the Allen & Roth Closet Kits?

No. The pedestal is not compatible with our ventilated towers; it can only be used with our solid tower items.
